Content syndication involves the practice of republishing your original content on third-party websites. Traditionally, tracking the performance of such syndicated content has been challenging, particularly in terms of understanding the extent of viewership and identifying the specific companies engaging with the content.
To address these challenges, our company offers the Channel99 pixel, which provides detailed insights into the volume of views and identifies the companies that are consuming your content, whether or not they actually download the content itself.
Creating a Channel99 Pixel for Content Syndication
-
Access the Pixel Screen:
-
Navigate to the Pixel Screen by clicking "Pixel" in the left navigation bar.
-
Select "Create Pixel" located at the top left of the screen.

-
Configure the Pixel:

Name the pixel.
-
Choose the Channel, selecting "PR" from the dropdown menu.
-
Select a vendor. If your vendor isn't listed, choose "PR/AR Vendor" as a general option.

-

Placing the Channel99 Pixel in HTML Content
If you are placing the pixel into HTML content for a website or email you will need to wrap the pixel in an image tag. Follow the steps below.
- Copy the Channel99 Pixel you created within the platform.
- Use the template below to paste the Pixel URL into the image tag, replacing the red text with the Channel99 pixel.
- Copy the entire HTML Image tag (with the Pixel included) into your content.
*Note: We recommend you place the image tag above the content's fold for maximum visibility and tracking efficiency.
