Managing Users & Roles in Channel99
This guide walks through how to invite new users and edit existing users using the Users and Roles page in Channel99.
Step 1: Navigate to the Users and Roles Page
Open the main Channel99 (C99) menu.
Select Settings.
Click Users and Roles.
This page serves as the control center for managing user access and permissions.
Step 2: Review Existing Users and Pending Invites
On the Users and Roles page, you can:
View all users who currently have access to the platform
See users with pending invitations
Resend invitations if a user has not completed registration
Review each user’s assigned role
Step 3: Invite a New User
Click Invite User in the top-left corner of the screen.
Enter the user’s:
Name
Email address
Select a permission level:
User Permissions
Cannot create audiences
Cannot manage company settings
Cannot integrate vendors
Cannot update vendor spend or channel mappings
Has access to all standard reporting
Admin Permissions
Full access to company-level settings
Can manage integrations and provisioning
Typically assigned to marketing or operations users
Click Invite User in the top-right corner to send the invitation.
The invited user will receive an email within approximately 5 minutes.
Tip: If the user does not receive the email, have them check their spam folder for a message from Channel99.
Step 4: Edit an Existing User
From the Users and Roles page, click the user’s name.
On the User Details page, click Edit User.
Update any of the following:
User name
Permission level
Enrollment in the Channel99 AI Digest
The AI Digest is delivered on a regular cadence and provides AI-generated recommendations, highlights, and vendor/channel insights. We strongly recommend enrolling users to stay informed.
Click Save to apply your changes.
Step 5: Confirm Changes
After saving:
Permission updates take effect immediately
AI Digest enrollment will apply to the next scheduled send
