Channel99 built the Microsoft Audience Sharing and Metrics connector in order to provide the most up to date vendor influence information with with the least manual inputs from our end users, you. Once the connection is made the total spend from your Microsoft account along with Impressions and clicks will import into the Channel99 platform for display on the Vendors page and elsewhere. You will also be able to share audiences with Microsoft for targeting contacts associated with companies from audiences as long as they meet the minimum size criteria.

How do I connect Microsoft Ads to Channel99?
The linking process is very easy and done in 3 steps which will requiring admin level credentials to complete.

Login to Channel99 and to go Settings -> Integrations and Choose "Connect" under the Microsoft Ads Tile.

Click the "+ Microsoft Ads Account" button, this will take you to Microsoft ads to sign-in and select the Account you would like to link. If you only have one Microsoft Ads account you will not have to select anything and will be returned to the integration page with a successful connection.

Choose your Ads account from the list you have access to within Microsoft Ads. The account number will be found under your account name within Microsoft Ads. If you would like to include more than one instance of, repeat the signup process with your second or third account. Channel99 will combine Spend, Impressions and Clicks from all connected accounts.
How Do I see Data From Integrations?
Reporting: You are now connected, within 3 hours you will see Spend, Click and Impressions within the Vendors page so you can start reporting.
Will also be able to navigate into "Vendor Spend" within "Settings" and view the automated vendor spend data, this will be indicated by a grayed out row and a lock icon in the vendor name.
Audiences Sharing
For audience sharing you will see an option in the Audience Page to push any audience which meets the minimum contact threshold to Microsoft for use in advertising campaigns. This threshold is currently 300 contacts which originate from your CRM contact records. If the accounts within the audience do not have contact records with emails in your CRM no audience can be shared and the minimums will not be met. Channel99 Audience Activation (Microsoft)
Channel99’s audience activation with Microsoft uses the Microsoft Advertising Customer List API (Bulk Service) to create and manage customer match audiences.
Using Microsoft’s customer list upload workflow, Channel99 securely uploads audience lists for targeting and campaign activation across Microsoft Advertising. Audience data is processed via the Microsoft Advertising Bulk Service as documented by Microsoft.
Audience data is automatically refreshed every 24 hours, ensuring Microsoft Advertising campaigns stay aligned with the most recent eligible Channel99 audience data.

NOTE: In order to start sharing audiences with Microsoft a one time manually loaded Customer Match audience is needed to complete the Microsoft required approvals within the Microsoft ads platform. Directions for that can be found here. After this you will be able to share audiences from the C99 platform.
Your Microsoft Ads connection will keep Spend, Impression and click metrics up to date by syncing every 6 hours.
