The Channel99 Slack Assistant brings Channel99 intelligence directly into your team’s everyday workflow.
With the integration enabled, marketers, revenue teams, and operators can ask questions about performance, accounts, and audiences without leaving Slack or logging into Channel99.

Channel99’s Slack Assistant allows teams to access Channel99 insights directly inside Slack conversations, enabling faster collaboration and decision-making
Requirements
Integration user must have Slack administrator privileges to perform the setup.
Integration user must have Channel99 administrator privileges to perform the setup.
This is necessary so OAuth and workspace permissions can be granted successfully.
Step-by-step installation
Open Channel99 Slack integration page by going to Settings -> Integrations and Finding the Slack Tile or using this link.
- Click the Connect button on the Slack Tile
- Now Click "+ Slack Account" this will open the Slack Oauth wizard and guide you through the mandatory permission set for the app.
- Once you have placed in the correct workspace and allowed the actions for the C99 Assistant, it will be ready to use by your team members.
Using Slack
Slack can be used in two different ways, by chatting directly to the App in the Slack Apps Section where it will be Called "C99 Assistant" or by invoking the C99 Assistant into a slack channel by using the "@C99 Assistant" Evocation in any slack channel.
Option 1: Direct Chat with the Assistant
You can message the assistant directly.
Open Slack
Go to the Apps section in the sidebar
Select C99 Assistant
Start asking questions
This is the best option when you want to:
Ask quick questions
Explore Channel99 insights privately
Run ad-hoc analysis
Examples:
“Which vendors are driving the most pipeline?”
“What accounts are showing intent this week?”
“Which campaigns are performing best?”
Option 2: Use the Assistant in a Channel
You can also bring the assistant into a team conversation.
To do this, mention the assistant in any Slack channel:
@C99 Assistant
Once mentioned, the assistant will respond in the thread with the requested information.
This is helpful when:
Collaborating with your marketing or revenue team
Reviewing campaign performance together
Sharing insights directly in discussions
