What is the Channel99 Pixel for Gmail?
The Channel99 Pixel for Gmail is a small view web beacon or pixel, incorporated into your Gmail signature to identify which companies are viewing and eventually visiting your site via our view through technology.
Creating A Channel99 Pixel
- Access the Pixel Screen in the Channel99 Platform
- Navigate to the Pixel Screen by clicking "Pixel" in the left navigation bar.
- Select "Create Pixel" located at the top left of the screen or use the link here
- Configure the Pixel:
- Name the pixel. This should be a user friendly name like, "Gmail Pixel".
- Choose the Channel, selecting "Email" from the dropdown menu.
- Select a Vendor. If your vendor isn't listed, choose "Gmail".
- Pick an Audience from the dropdown menu. This sets your default audience for measurement (modifiable later, but required for initial setup).
- Copy the Pixel Code: After configuration, ensure to copy the generated pixel code. If you lose this code you can still go into the Pixel overview page and click the edit icon to view and copy the code again.
- Click "Publish"
How Do I Setup my Channel99 Pixel with Gmail?

Within Gmail, start to "Compose" a new email.
- Chose the Pen symbol and "Manage Signatures" in the lower right corner of the email composer.
- In the signature editor, move the cursor to the top of your signature and click the "Insert Image" symbol.
- Choose "Web Address (URL)" and paste the pixel code you copied from the Channel99 platform.
- Click "Select" which will place you back into the signature editing page.
- Save Signature, this completes the integration. Any rep for contact you would like to track can share a single pixel or if you would like individual reporting you can create a pixel per role.
To access all your pixel reporting go to your Pixel Overview page and start finding insights.
